Enchanted One: Portal to Love — An Interview

Virtual Book Tour —  Sheila Applegate: I can’t think of too much more positive than unconditional love, and that’s the subject of  Sheila Applegate’s new book.  I met Sheila several months ago — connected on LinkedIn because she needed head shots for her book and she’d “been guided” to me for her photography.  This piqued my interest and I needed to know more.  What guided her — why me? and what for? — caught my interest.

Those answers were invigorating, as were her conversations regarding her book, such that I decided to interview her, and our interview became part of her virtual book tour.

It’s been an adventure-filled collaboration.  I did photograph her for the  book, and engaged photographer and graphic artist Mariana Roberts to add a little goddess-type magic to her image, which you’ll see during the presentation below, among others.

Listen to this entertaining interview with Sheila — how’d she come to write the book, what does it mean, why is it important and why should you read it?  All on the interview below.  Listen and enjoy! and maybe even pick up the book. Details inside.

Kelvin Ringold

Born to John and Lora Ringold on October 24, 1953, grew up, went to school, graduated high school and joined the Air Force -- turned 18 in basic training. Did 20 years in the Air Force and retired in 1991. Moved to Syracuse, worked at University Hospital and retired from there at 55. During that 55 years... I learned some lessons, one of which is that LIFE is what we make it. I spend a major portion of my waking hours helping other people figure out the same thing. Life is what we make of it, and... "when you master your mindset, you master your life." That's my mission: living it, and teaching it.

  • Mitch~ Thank you for the genuine honesty in your response. It can feel frightening to think of experiencing ALL emotions but the fear of experiencing them is far greater than the actual experience! Divine Love pours in so quickly you will be amazed! The book explains each emotion and guides you in embracing the full passion of life.
Thank you for your good wishes.

    • Thank You Glennis! You will love the chapter on Forgiveness~ It is key to finding the happy life you are aiming for. It is possible and you knowing you want that means you are halfway there! Many blessings!

  • Nice interview and interesting stuff. I found the part about having to experience all emotions, good or bad, disturbing, and yet I think I’m supposed to feel that way because, as Kelvin said, there are some of those things we all just want to put away and never have to deal with again. I hope the book is successful; nice job Sheila and Kelvin.
